The Year of Jacky Cheung 07
It’s everytime…. without a doubt.
Everytime we see Jacky Cheung perform live…. it’s an unbelievable experience. When you hear his voice soaring through the stadium, singing one of your many many many favourite ballads, it’s seriously a simple and pure type of happy. The joy in just listening to the melody of sound.
For songs in which lyrics I do not understand completely (hehe), that it becomes all the more impressive. Feel the emotion in the music, and you know that music is truly boundless, for it requires no language for you to understand it.
Now, can you feeeeeeeeeeel how great I thought it was? Hehe.
Again – the concert was just so GREAAAAAAAAAAATTT. FANTABULOUS. We were so totally happy happy happy HAPPY! 18 out of 10 stars! Jacky Cheung exceeded expectations in every way during his concert last Friday.
With the amazing dancing (at his age!) and the tearing of his pants and showing of underwear. Hehe. (It’s a real wardrobe malfunction.)
A little walk down memory lane – he’s the first Chinese singer which I listened to… back in the days when I couldn’t speak a bleep of Cantonese. And since then, he’s been my favourite #1 Hong Kong singer, EVER. His voice… it just brings out romantic in waves.
I took photos with my k810i! My RM198 seats were better than expected. The stage was huge, and the screen was top notch. We could see clearly all the way across the field. Me and Peg were more than happy with our seats. Hehe.
Years ago… we both bought two of the most expensive tickets for his concert which was also at Bukit Jalil. Peg, 3 rows from the front. Me, 10 rows from the front. Now, we’re content to see the bigger picture – instead of just staring at him sweat. Hehe.
Damn, it was a helluva concert. I’d go again, and again, and again. Everytime.
Photos sooon. Went to Penang the next day for a 2D/1N trip so I’ve been busy. Photos from that still in the camera too.
